Ellie Duke is a writer, editor, and creative producer from Vermont who lives in Springs, NY. She has worked as an editor for the Los Angeles Review of Books and Hyperallergic, is currently the contributing fiction editor for Playboy, and has written for various arts and culture magazines such as the New York Times, the Surfer’s Journal, and Art in America. She curates and organizes exhibitions and unusual events on the east end of Long Island, where she also works as studio director for the sculptor Fitzhugh Karol.
